Luke Lowrey is the man behind the powerful “The Vertical Project”. He is known today as the vertical jump guru – the person who could double your vertical jump in a matter of 60 days. He was given that title by an Olympic trainer from Houston that he worked with two years ago. And since then, he isn’t known by any other title.
Before the conceptualization of The Vertical Project, Luke Lowrey was a humble young athlete fresh from high school hoping to play in the NBA. He’s from Australia and he moved to the U.S. for college, just so he can pursue his dream. He’s actually a very good player as he is, with several basketball scholarships waiting on the table the moment he arrived at the American shores. But accidents after another prevented him for playing his beloved sport, including severing his finger, which was caught in a moving van’s compartment. That incident reversed all his scholarship offers.
Yet that didn’t stop him from playing. Because of his finger, he resolved to get even better with basketball. That’s when he thought of improving his vertical jump. At the start, he’s doing an acceptable 32 inches leap. But if he wants the big league to notice him, he has to do better than that.
He tried all known vertical leap improvement systems in the world – Olympic lifts, plyometrics, and heavy weights. None of them worked as much as he hoped they would. And so he threw them all out of the window, including everything he learned about increasing vertical leap from the so-called experts, and started from scratch. That’s when he devised his own formula – the very foundation of the Vertical Project. His program works because it is based from science and is created out of constant mathematical algorithms that can never fail.
Right now, Luke Lowrey is closely working with a handful of athletes from different fields. And most of them were past their 50-inch vertical jump mark. Luke Lowrey’s limited set of clients are on a non-disclosure agreement. These athletes are so popular they don’t want to be exposed of using a special training system to improve their game.
Luke is not into accepting clients so much. In fact, he had turned down a lot of athletes, both big and small, so he can focus on the few he trains. He even refused an offer by the giant sports network ESPN to create a reality show based on his vertical leap formula.
However, he realized that there are a lot of aspiring young players out there who are going to benefit a lot from his program. That’s why he chose to put his secrets into writing and make it available for everyone who wants to use it.
